Communication was great, Boat was great, Weather was great, Fishing was great...........and Captain Marc and Brandie were even better. Fish were not cooperative early, but Marc and Brandie pivoted from original strategy and made it work!! Great people, enjoyable day and we will certainly be booking with Marc and Brandie again.

Captain Marc had great communication prior to going out on the water. He talked about how it was tough right now getting good quality live bait right now but he would do his best to put us on the fish.

We had a great time out on the water with Captain Marc and Brandy Vrban. Even though we didn’t end up with any keepers this trip, the experience was still absolutely worth it. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. We really appreciated getting to know them and spending time fishing with such good people. Their positive attitude and hospitality made all the difference. We’re already looking forward to booking another trip with them soon and hopefully landing some keepers next time! Highly recommend fishing with Captain Marc and Brandy.

Marc was incredibly patient teaching my 11-year-old son how to cast. When things started off a bit slow, he did a great job helping us adjust throughout the afternoon. We ended up bringing in our limit of trout, plus a few extra keepers, along with 8–10 that were undersized and released. The boat was brand new and in excellent condition.

Very nice guide and wife, and the boat and equipment were in excellent condition with plenty of space. However, we only managed to bring in one keeper along with several catfish. It felt like there was limited knowledge of the bay in terms of locating productive areas, reading water conditions, and understanding how factors like rain runoff affect fishing spots. Overall, we had a pleasant time on the water, but as an angler, my main focus is catching fish. Hopefully next time will be more productive.

Marc was such an awesome guide! We went on a birthday trip with my wife and my 2 sons, a 3 year old and a 7 year old. Our 7 year caught an oversized red and Marc really lead his experience and allowed him to fight and reel the fish up solo. Marc was there to assist just in case to help! Our kiddos enjoyed it so much. The boat was stocked with essentials such as waters and anything that was needed. I would recommend Marc to anyone who is looking for a great experience to learn fishing alongside someone who is knowledgeable.

My entire family had an incredible time with Captain Marc and his wife. We would recommend them to anyone and we want everyone to know that they truly are family friendly. I took my wife, our 4-year-old daughter and our 7-year-old son out for a short cast afternoon trip. We were all a little hesitant with the children's ages, but Captain Marc and his wife were extremely patient, kind, and helpful with them. My children genuinely enjoyed catching spotted trout with live shrimp for bait. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and if we end up in South Padre again, we will give Marc a call.

We had a great experience with Captain Mark. He has a brand-new boat and excellent equipment, and he is a very patient and knowledgeable guide who knows where and how to fish. We were very pleased with the trip overall.

Marc was an awesome guide! We went on a birthday trip with my wife and our two sons (ages 3 and 7). The kids had an incredible time. The boat was well stocked with essentials like water and everything else we needed for the trip. Captain Marc Vrban and Brandy showed us a phenomenal time out in the bay fishing the full day. We caught Reds, Trout, and Cat fish all day long, never a dull or down moment! Captain Marc was extremely patient and demonstrated his passion of fishing with our group of 4. He baited, casted, and grabbed the net when needed. My wife, son, and I booked a 5-hour in-shore trip with Captain Marc and his wife Brandy. It was everything a day on the water should be. We were targeting redfish and they delivered — we landed plenty of perfect eating-size reds throughout the trip. (my wife wants to add, tgat she smiled and laughed continuously for 5 hours on the water with Captain Marc and Co-Captain Brandy; what a win-win!!) But what truly set this experience apart was the boat and the operation behind it. Captain Marc’s boat was absolutely immaculate — and I don’t use that word lightly. You could tell immediately that this is someone who takes serious pride in their equipment. At cruising speed, the boat was so quiet I had to remind myself there was an engine running. We glided through the bays peacefully, which made the whole experience feel more like a retreat than a charter trip. That level of investment in their boat and gear says everything about how Captain Marc and his great wife Brandy run their business. Speaking of which — Captain Marc and Brandy were incredible hosts. Easy to spend all day with, genuinely warm, and clearly passionate about what they do. They made our family feel completely at ease from the moment we stepped on board. My wife was able to kick back and relax, my son had a blast, and I was able to enjoy some of the best inshore fishing I’ve experienced. When you fish with a guide, the condition of the boat matters more than most people realize. A pristine, well-maintained vessel creates an atmosphere of safety and confidence that lets you actually enjoy the trip. Captain Marc nails this. You can feel the care and attention in every detail — from the tackle to the hull to the way they treat their guests.
